CedarStone Bank Celebrates 10th Anniversary
On Thursday, April 17, CedarStone Bank will host a community celebration of 10 years of service in Lebanon, Mt. Juliet and Donelson. The event, which is open to the public, is from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the bank’s headquarters at 900 West Main Street in Lebanon. The celebration will feature live music by local favorite Tick Bryan and The CedarStones, refreshments, and fellowship. “We have coordinated efforts between the Chambers of Commerce offices in Lebanon, Mt. Juliet and Donelson for this event and expect a terrific turnout,” said CedarStone Bank President and CEO Robert L. McDonald.
In early 2003, a diverse group of business and community leaders in Wilson County began to visualize a new bank in Lebanon and Mt. Juliet – a bank that would be known for returning to the simple basics of banking: friendly, experienced bankers conveniently delivering superior services to both individuals and businesses. CedarStone Bank opened its doors for business in April 2004. Since that time, CedarStone Bank has become known as a true community bank, with a strong commitment to education and to developing a positive business climate.
“We are appreciative of what our bank has accomplished over the past 10 years,” said Nelson Steed, Chairman of the Board of Directors. “Much of that can be attributed to our first priority of serving our customers and our communities. Our bank’s name reflects this. Cedar and Stone represents strength and integrity, which resembles our communities,” Steed continued.
The Board of Directors include: Nelson Steed, Chairman, Jackie Cowden, Vice Chair, Kevin Bay, Secretary, Brownie Vantrease, Bancroft O’Quinn, Jr., MD, Don Moser, and Bob McDonald, President and CEO. CedarStone Bank is a full service financial institution with three offices: 900 West Main Street, Lebanon, 4140 North Mt. Juliet Road, Mt. Juliet, and 2900 Lebanon Road, Nashville.
