CedarStone Bank and Summit Medical Center are teaming up to offer Flu Clinics on three consecutive Fridays in October at the bank’s three locations.
Arriving in time for the upcoming flu season, nurses and staff from Summit Convenient Care at Lebanon and Summit Walk-In Clinic will be on-site offering flu shots to area senior adults from 1 - 3 p.m. on Friday, October 15 at the Lebanon Main Office, 1 - 3 p.m. on Friday, October 22 at the Mt. Juliet Office and on Friday, October 29 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the CedarStone Bank Donelson office.
“Good health is something we feel is important to promote in our communities and we are glad to be teaming up with Summit Convenient Care to offer flu shots at a discount for senior adults in Lebanon, Mt. Juliet and Donelson,” commented Bob McDonald, President and CEO of CedarStone Bank.
Summit Medical Center has facilities located in Lebanon and Mt. Juliet, with the main hospital being just down the road from the bank’s Donelson office. Summit Walk-In Clinic is located in the new Publix Shopping Center in Providence, in Mt. Juliet and Summit Convenient Care at Lebanon is located near I-40 and South Hartmann Drive in the Physicians Plaza of Lebanon building.
“Indications are that it’s going to be a very busy flu season, and we want to do what we can to help," said Kim Moore, LPN, practice manager for Summit Walk-in Clinic. “The best way to prevent the flu is by getting a flu vaccination each year and since we have extra vaccines, we want to offer these additional clinics for the public.”
No appointment will be necessary and $20 vaccinations will be available for senior adults; shots will be limited to a first-come, first-served basis.
